Toluca Restaurants
Since Colonial times, Toluca has been famous in Mexico for food products made of pork, in particular Chorizo (a type of sausage). This was originally Toluca's main economic activity, bringing wealth to the area and creating a distinct local gastronomy. Even today the Chorizo sausage (made with all natural ingredients) remains the most representative dish in Toluca.
